Bloemfontein Gymnastics Club is affiliated with Gymnastics South Africa.


GSA Annual Registration Fees

Registration fees are stipulated by GSA and are not included in the quarterly fees paid for coaching.

PLEASE NOTE - this is a mandatory fee that registers the gymnast to GSA. All gymnasts receiving coaching need to be registered.

This fee is NOT an entry fee for any competitions during the upcoming year. Should your gymnast compete, a separate competition fee will be charged.

All gymnasts must pay this fee yearly, allocated according to category A/B/C/E


Below please see the description of each category.

CATEGORY A

- This is a gymnast who is involved in any discipline under the auspices of GSA from Level 4 upwards (all SA levels).

- If a gymnast is wishing to compete locally, provincially, or nationally they must be registered in this category.

CATEGORY B

- This is a gymnast who is involved in any program in the sport at a recreational level.

- A gymnast may not compete in a GSA program if they are registered in this category.

- This category is purely non-competitive and makes no distinction between whether a member comes from an advantaged or disadvantaged background.

CATEGORY C (Competitive PDI)

- This is a gymnast who is involved in any discipline under the auspices of GSA from Level 1 upwards (all competitive levels) who is classified by their Region/Province as coming from a current financial disadvantaged background.

- If a gymnast is wishing to compete locally, provincially or nationally, they must be registered in this category.

- Application for Cat C must be submitted to provide proof of financial difficulty.

CATEGORY E

- This is a gymnast who is involved in any discipline under the auspices of GSA from Level 1-3 (all Zone levels).

- If a gymnast is wishing to compete locally or provincially they must be registered in this category.

As per the GSA Regulations & Procedures regarding membership fees:

“Any person or institution taking part or providing classes in the sport of Gymnastics in South Africa needs to be registered with the SAGF in one of its categories of membership. Fees due by all classes of membership are to be paid directly to the SAGF. The membership cycle is from 01 January to 31 December. Members are required to renew their membership each year however members will be given 90 days grace period in the new year between 01 January to 31 March to renew their membership.”


Membership Fees are non-refundable
